The Industry Safety Induction is a 1 day training course. All New Starts shall satisfactorily complete the Industry Safety Induction prior to working on the development or operation of Onshore or Offshore Facilities in the WA/NT* or Qld Oil and Gas Exploration & Production Industry.
A New Start is anyone who has not worked in the Australian Oil and Gas E&P Industry for at least 12 months in the last 2 years.
People who have worked in the Australian Oil and Gas E&P Industry for more than 12 months in the last 2 years can complete an Experienced Worker Declaration Form as evidence that they are not required to complete the ISI prior to starting work.

ISI training does not require completing a formal written examination. Participant assessment will occur through a combination of short quizzes and direct observation by the trainer/assessor of:

This course is suitable for those who wish to work on the development or operation of Onshore or Offshore Facilities in the WA/NT* or Qld Oil and Gas E&P Industry.

A Certificate of Completion will be issued to participants who are assessed as being competent to work on the development or operation of Onshore or Offshore Facilities in the WA/NT* or Qld Oil and Gas E&P Industry. Please contact us directly to receive your ISI card.

Successful candidates will be eligible to work on the development or operation of Onshore or Offshore Facilities in the WA/NT* or Qld Oil and Gas E&P Industry.

Each participant must pay or have written authorisation from their employer’s accountable officer to cover their costs before a participant can begin the course.
Cancellation within 24 hours of course commencement – 100% fee is incurred.

ISI Students must agree to complete a Program Evaluation as part of their enrolment into this program.
